DISMISS AT 11:40am
Time: 8:50-11:30am
Grade Levels: 1st- 8th grade
What is International Day?
These days are designed to give our students additional exposure to what it is like to be a Christian in the “real
world”, whether that is in the professional arena or around the world. Christian presenters are invited from the
community to speak in two different sessions to two different age groups.
Who makes the schedule and handles the logistics for International/Career Day?
Schedules are coordinated by Raymond Small in the school office. He, along with volunteers, helps to insure
that speakers are scheduled and directed around the facility to their proper locations. If you, or someone you
know, would like to present to our students, please call 319-626-4777 and talk with Raymond Small or email
him at smallr@hcs-nl.com.
What do Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten do this day?
Pre-K and Kindergarten classes will have a normal day. There will be no co-curricular classes
Please join us as we pray for students, families, teachers, and leaders of Heritage Christian School.
Everyone is encouraged to join us for worship from 9-10AM. Prayer will be held throughout the day from 10AM to 7PM. Please sign-up for a 30 minute time slot to join us in prayer!
Dads – join your children for some fun fellowship (with donuts!) before the school day starts! The theme is “Favorite Sports Team” – so come dressed accordingly! We plan on taking pictures. See you Friday, October 10th in the school gym.
