Box Tops Information

Box Tops and Labels for Education support Heritage Christian School

Students and parents are encouraged to clip and save Box Tops and Labels for Education UPCs.  Each month we will have a little contest to see which class turns in the most Box Tops (Labels for Education are not part of the contest).  Whichever class collects the most Box Tops (per student) will receive a small prize for the month.  At the end of the year, the class that earns the most Box Tops total for the year (per student) will win a bigger prize, such as, an ice cream party.

If you’d like to turn in your Box Tops for the month of September, please do so by  Friday, October 2.  Otherwise, you may choose to turn them in at any time during the school year.  You may turn in Box Tops to your student’s teacher, or, if you turn them in to the office, please indicate the class to which they belong.

The most important thing, though, is to get those Box Tops turned in before their expiration date so we can earn as much as we can for our school.  Labels for Education does not expire.

Last year, the total amount earned for 2014-2015 was $1,760.70.  That means that out of, approximately, 207 Heritage students last year, over 17,600 Box Tops were submitted!  That’s pretty awesome.

Here are some examples of what you might see to clip and save on your product packaging(mostly food items):

There aren’t many, but Goldfish Crackers(Pepperidge Farm) is an example of an acceptable Labels for Education product, but without any indication that it is a participant in the program. V8 drinks are another example of that.  Just the UPC will be sufficient.
