Introducing Mrs. Palmer, 1st Grade Teacher
Emma Palmer grew up in Paullina, Iowa until middle school when her family moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa. She graduated high school and headed to the University of Dubuque for her undergraduate degree. During her time there she enjoyed learning about other cultures. She studied abroad for a year in Australia and traveled to South Africa for a mission trip. During all of these travels God taught her a lot about herself and how to serve others for His Glory. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in International Studies and Speech Communication. She and her husband felt called after his graduation from UD to return to his home state of Florida to serve and be closer to his family. During this time in Florida she felt led to return to school to pursue her MAT in Elementary Education with USF. Emma and her husband have two children: Bria (9) and Zane (4) that have blessed them immensely. Their family has enjoyed living and serving in Tampa, Florida for 12 years now. After graduation God led her to FBBCA to serve as a preschool and Kindergarten teacher. She also enjoyed spending a year as a 1st grade teacher at RCS.
“It has been a blessing to share the Word of God with my students. I love being able to share with them about this amazing God that made them and loves them. I look forward to joining the team at Heritage and serving God with so many amazing teachers, students, staff, and families. I am excited to be the hands and feet of Jesus as I share His love with my students this year as the 1st grade teacher at Heritage this Fall!”
