Operation G.O.O.D.

Operation G.O.O.D. (Giving of Ourselves Day) was a GREAT day! On Friday, May 3, Heritage students served the community by assisting city workers adding fresh mulch to park trees, clearing fallen tree branches and brush, pulling wild garlic mustard weed, picking up trash, and blessing others with sidewalk chalk messages. We then returned to school for a pizza picnic followed by a chapel and some fun Minute-to-Win-It challenge activities. We capped off the day with some pies in the face with the staff. So much FUN! We practiced Creation Enjoying, Earth Keeping, Beauty Creating, Community Building, Image Reflecting, God Worshipping, and Servant Working. We raised almost $50K in donations – Thank you Heritage Families, God is Good!
