Track Season

This year our athletes competed at Oskaloosa, Regina, Williamsburg, and the IDE Conference Meet—and they did very well!

Highlights from Regina:

John B. led the way—1st in the 200m (new school record: 25.69!) and 1st in shot put (new meet record: 37’3”)

Evan V. took 3rd in both the 100m and shot put

4x100m relay team (Noah L., Elijah G., Evan V., John B.) finished 3rd

Grace B. (2nd in 100m), Bria P. (2nd in 200m), Keira G. (3rd in 800m), Elyse A. (3rd in shot put)

Williamsburg Meet:

Despite the chilly weather, Keira G. and Annette M. crushed the 1500m—Keira placed 3rd (6:11.63), shaving 15 seconds off her time, and Annette dropped 45 seconds for a 6:27.12 finish!

IDE Conference Meet:

6 first-place finishes

8 second-place

9 third-place

And many more top-6 finishes!

Shoutout to Kaelyn V., Emma V., and Joey G. for setting new school records in the triple jump—a brand-new event for us!
