Middle School Retreat

The Middle School held a retreat at Hidden Acres Camp from April 2-4 and it was an incredible experience of community, growth, and Jesus. They had a great time playing together in the pool, game room, zip lining, gym, and camp grounds. They enjoyed building lots of memories, laughing together, and encountering God in a profound way.

One way we encouraged the students to live out the story that God has ignited in their lives this week is to LIGHT a fire. Here’s what we mean…

I = Ignite Others – Live Missionally

G = Guard Your Mind

H = Hide God’s Word in Your Heart

T = Take Risks for God – Stay Out of Your Comfort Zone

It is our prayer that all of the students would take what they learned, and seek to deepen our relationships with God after the retreat, prioritize prayer, spend time in God’s word, engage in acts of service, and connect with other believers in our community.
