Heritage PALS

Heritage Christian School’s PALS program is an opportunity for the older students to build relationships with the younger students.  Once a week, the students gather together with their PALS to spend about 15 minutes reading to each other, praying together, playing games together and many other activities.

Once a month, the students spend one hour together doing various projects.  Each month, one of the PALS groups uses this time to visit the Solon Care Center.  During this time, the students visit with the residents, sing songs, and sometimes play games or complete craft projects.

For the month of November, the third and eighth grade students sang songs from their upcoming Veterans’ Day Program (Friday, Nov. 9 at 9:45am at Heritage) and spent time visiting with the elderly.  This is a great opportunity for our students to build relationships with people of all ages and share the love of Jesus.
