8th Grade Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Our 8th grade students had the opportunity to visit Colony Pumpkin Patch in North Liberty as a learning field trip for Algebra class. Before going, the students participated in an online activity to begin thinking about how they could apply their knowledge of linear equations to analyze income and expenses at the pumpkin patch. The students enjoyed learning more about God’s creation, how businesses are run, and how we can use algebra in real life scenarios!
