Scott and his wife Nicole have three children and have been connected to Heritage for over 15 years. Scott works in facilities administration for St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. He attended a small Christian school and values the impact it has made in his life. He appreciates how Heritage teaches with a biblical focus, strives for academic excellence, and prepares students for service in God’s world.

Brad and his wife, Abby, have one child and have been a part of Heritage since 2022. Brad is an elementary teacher and also coaches multiple sports. Brad and Abby have attended Grace Community Church for over 20 years. They are blessed to be a part of Heritage and are grateful for the excellent academic preparation taught from a Biblical worldview.
Treasurer
Term: 2024-2027
Tim and his wife, Becki, have been part of Heritage since 2019. They have three children: Samuel (6th grade), Olivia (3rd), and Madelyn (1st). Tim and Becki have been devoted supporters of Christian education ever since Becki taught at Genesee Country Christian school in upstate New York. The family attends Parkview Church, where they became members in 2005.
Secretary
Term: 2024-2027
Lance and his wife Brynna have two children at Heritage. They have been a part of the Heritage family since 2016. Lance works in the field of landscaping and Brynna is a nurse practitioner at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. They are active members of Veritas Church in Tiffin. They hold Christian education as an integral part of the team (home/family, church, and school) to instill biblical values into their (and other) children.

Marco and his wife Renata first became involved with Heritage in 2015 when their daughter Bella entered Mrs. Peter’s Pre-K class. Bella has now graduated 8th grade and their son Lucas will be a 4th grader this year. The Alamberts attend and serve at LIFEchurch in Coralville, and are blessed by serving at Heritage as well, both in the boardroom and on the soccer field. Go Eagles!

Ryan and his wife, Krystal, are proud parents of four boys and have been part of the Heritage community since 2023. Ryan serves as the Volunteer Engagement Director at Grace Community Church, where he and his family also attend. With a background in higher education, he is passionate about integrating strong academics with a solid biblical foundation. His personal motto is, “Rock on to the fullest!”

Damien and his wife Vanessa moved to Swisher following his retirement from the U.S. Air Force in 2023. Their son Alejandro is a First Lieutenant in training at Vance Air Force Base, and their daughter Caroline is an engineer at Shive Hattery Architecture & Engineering, along with her husband Sam. Vanessa recently retired from 20 years as a teacher, the final three as the middle school language arts teacher at Heritage. They fill their hearts and days watching Caroline and Sam’s little boys several days a week, subbing at Heritage, and occasionally traveling to visit Vanessa’s family in Tennessee. Damien and Vanessa both love the people and mission of Heritage Christian School and all it does to prepare young hearts and minds to embark on Godly, Biblically-guided lives.
