5th Grade Des Moines Field Trip

On Tuesday, April 26th, the 5th grade class traveled to Des Moines to explore the science center and tour the capitol. At the science center, students learned about the night sky in Iowa and also took a class on chemistry experiments. At the capitol, the students learned about the history of the Iowa capitol. They also learned about all the intricate work that went into building and decorating the capitol. A highlight for the students was to climb the steps up to the dome. A good time was had by all the students!
